Would a nodule on the upper right lung cause a persistant cough?

Michael fan - The answer is NO. Such nodules usually represent an old focus of infection, commonly from a few tuberculosis bacteria or from an old fungus infection. To be sure it's benign, your doctor may look at any old X-rays or future ones to see if any change occurs. For now, search other causes of your persistent cough with your doctor's help.
