What r Linux developers up to now that bluray has won?

Linux with BluRay support will probably be introduced, but it won't be free seeing how BluRay is still closed source and has not been made into a 'mainsteam' format yet. But given some time when Bluray fully replaces DVD's then we will probably get Linux with built in Bluray support.
