Ipod touch 3g or PS3... Help!!!?

hello peoples I'm just wondering which of these (iPod Touch 3g Or PS3) are better to get! My parents said I could only get 1 of these cuz i graduated HS early I finished last week but which is better to get I like both cuz ipod i could take around with me, and PS3 is kool cuz i could play online and it has some cool games but I need help I havent had one of these so please help me decide mmkay thanx! ^-^
