Can a Photon partical be stopped in midair by a magnet or magnetic device?

I've studied how atoms emit light and I've learned that light from an atom is emitted by the movement of electrons falling from one level to another and this creates a photon particle. if this is correct there must be someway to stop the movement of that photon a keep it stationary in mid air. I believe that there must be a loop hole in physics that can make 3D holographic images in mid air possible. I would like to find out what that loophole is. secondly if that is possible would this stationary light particle be too hot to touch.
