Why hasn't the owner name changed on public records?

so i am about to rent this apartment, and i was making sure that the owner actually bought the house as she said and not still paying mortgage or anything. i go to miami-dade.gov and i look for property search. and then i find that the owner name is still the bank? does the bank really own it or this take time?
