I don't remember liberals upset with CBS like they are with Newscorp?

When Dan Rather ran a story about GW right before the election with forged doents trying to stop his re-election. The silence from the liberals was deafening. Why are they so upset with Rupert Murdock and Newscorp? I just can't figure it out.
